Relative

Is it you in the mirror?

Time is relative

and so is knowledge and love

among other things

such as suffering and distance

all concepts far beyond our control.

When we look back, we remember

when we imagine, we dream

but, are we in the now just because we breathe?

Are we truly alive or do we think we exist?

There’s a word called decision

it’s a challenging one

and its only ambition, apart from being judicious,

is to make you aware

that true power and wisdom

born and die in yourself.

There are times for surprises

as life is tricky

it enhances

your chances for regret.

Better yet

for adventure and pleasure

to protect you from pressures

that limit your success.

As relative as it all is

I’ll leave you here with a riddle:
